Lux Group have been experiencing rapid growth, underpinned by a strong business model and exceptional technical expertise across their web and email platforms.
But also needed to get native mobile apps into the market quickly to bolster the customer experience. Central to this initiative was a need to drive customer behaviour through smart use of notifications, but later the business needed to expand their mobile app portfolio to support their other businesses including ScoopOn, Cudo, Treat Me and Deals.
Bringing together our Experience Designers, Delivery Managers, iOS Engineers and Android Engineers, we delivered high-quality apps for Luxury Escapes in just 12 weeks.
We then iterated on the app, expanding capabilities to include the use of Qantas Points (both earn and burn, towards the cost of a holiday) and many other features besides. We then developed white labelling capability to support expansion across the other apps in the Lux Group stable, and it is now possible to spin up a new sister product in just one day – complete with deployment pipeline, app store submissions and quality frameworks already in place.
Lux Group’s growth continues unabated, and Luxury Escape’s presence has now expanded into TV shows and beyond.
Meanwhile, the apps enjoy fantastic ratings on the app stores, driving yep more growth for the business. They’re a true Aussie success story, and we’re thrilled to be a part of their journey!
