CocoaHeads
Whether you have a team of 2 or 200, our shared team Bilue has a long standing involvement in CocoaHeads, a developer community founded in 2008 with involvement from Bilue’s CEO. The community regularly features Bilue speakers and, for the past five years, Bilue has hosted and sponsored the event.
iOS Academy for Women
Bilue collaborates with Apple each year to run the iOS Academy for Women, a free eight week course designed for women with little to no coding experience. The program helps participants develop coding skills and create pathways into the technology industry.
Communities of Practice
Bilue’s Communities of Practice span multiple disciplines including iOS, Design, Android, React, Backend, Frontend, Business Analysis, QA and Project Management. The iOS community meets on a fortnightly basis to discuss developments across the Apple ecosystem and share knowledge internally.
iOS Hackathons
Bilue has hosted iOS hackathons with universities including RMIT and UTS, as well as organisations such as CBA and Northern Health. These hackathons bring together developers, designers and product teams to explore new ideas and demonstrate the capabilities of the iOS platform.
